Dial ADogWash will be part of the ' Paws in the Park ' Leyland Festival 2012 will be held over the 7th & 8th July 2012 on Worden Park and in Leyland town centre. The Festival will provide a weekend of family fun with a wide choice of activities. (See Leyland Festival 2011 below)
Leyland Festival 2011
The Leyland Festival 2011 was held on 9th & 10th July. Over 12,000 people enjoyed the 2 day event, which was held on Worden Park to celebrate the diamond jubilee.
The Festival was supported by a wide range of local businesses, voluntary and community organisations providing a weekend of events and activities that offered something for everyone in a safe, family-friendly environment.
The entertainment included a classic vehicle parade; children’s activities; “Paws in the Park” fun dog show; classic vehicle displays; craft and community stalls; and competitions including the “Lancashire Bushtucker Trials” and children’s fancy dress.
Visitors had a choice of entertainment from local dance groups, rock/pop/indie bands and the Leyland Brass Band and refreshments were on offer at the Beer Festival in Worden Arts Centre, which also hosted a lifelike model railway exhibition. South Ribble Museum held a special exhibition about the diamond jubilee of Worden Park and the Leyland Car, Truck & Bus Extravaganza brought all sorts of interesting vehicles to the British Commercial Vehicle Museum over the Festival weekend.

In conjunction with the Friends of Ashton Park this annual Dog Show is a great day out.
Includes micro chipping and dog welfare advice and some great doggy competitions and prizes.
Why not enter your dog in the Fun Dog Competition (enrol on day), £1 charge for each category entered in.

All money raised will be going to Preston RSPCA and the Doberman Welfare association.
